Has the brand (company) set a target to get 15% of its accommodation certified as being environmentally responsible by 2015?

Dutch version: Heeft het merk (bedrijf) zich ten doel gesteld om in 2015 het aandeel milieuvriendelijk gecertificeerde accommodaties te vergroten naar 15%?

German version: Hat sich der Reiseanbieter das Ziel gesetzt, bis 2015 den Anteil der umweltzertifizierten Unterkünfte im Angebot auf 15% zu erhöhen?

References and Guidelines

For references and background information see question 5. We have based the target percentage on a Tourism program started by Dutch NGO Sustainable Trade Initiative (IDH) in cooperation with Dutch tour operators (the program covers 60% of the Dutch Tour operating market). Together with the Dutch Tour Operator Association (ANVR), IDH will push for improvement of the sustainability performance of tourist accommodations in Tanzania, Kenya, Turkey, Egypt, Thailand and Brazil. This program aims to get a Travelife certification level of 15% of accommodation in these 6 countries by 2015.

Ranking Guidelines

The target doesn’t have to be exactly a 15% certification by 2015 as long as the target is comparable. For example, a 10% reduction by 2014 is also acceptable. In case of doubt, please consult the verifier.
