Is the brand (company) significantly involved in at least 1 initiative that addresses the urgent appeal to improve the social and environmental conditions of mining metals and minerals; for example tin from endangered tropical islands Bangka and Belitung, conflict minerals from Congo, etc?
NL: Is het merk (bedrijf) aanzienlijk betrokken in tenminste één initiatief dat de dringende oproep adresseert om de sociale en ecologische omstandigheden van de mijnbouw van metalen en mineralen te verbeteren; bijvoorbeeld tin van de bedreigde eilanden Bangka en Belitung, conflictmineralen uit Congo, etc?
DE: Ist der Markenhersteller mindestens in einer Initiative aktiv, die in wirksamer Weise den Notwendigkeiten zur Verbesserung des Arbeitnehmer- und Umweltbedingungen beim Abbau von Metallen und Mineralien nachgeht (bspw. Zinn aus Bangka, Indonesien oder Tantal aus dem Kongo)?

There are several initiatives that address the urgent appeal to improve the social and environmental conditions of mining metals and minerals; for example tin from endangered tropical islands Bangka and Belitung, conflict minerals from Congo, etc. We made a list of initiatives that were mentioned by brands, and scored them against criteria, to define which initiatives are eligible to this and the following questions.
