Questions about Climate Change

Cheese Climate Change Question 1:
Is there a policy for the brand (company) to minimize, reduce or compensate greenhouse gas emissions?

Cheese Climate Change Question 2:
Has the brand (company) disclosed the annual greenhouse gas emissions of its 'own operations'?

Cheese Climate Change Question 3:
Has the brand (company) already reduced or compensated its absolute 'own operations' greenhouse gas emissions by at least 10% in the last 5 years?

Cheese Climate Change Question 4:
Has the brand (company) set a target to reduce its absolute ‘own operations’ greenhouse gas emissions by at least 20% within the next 5 years?

Cheese Climate Change Question 5:
Does the brand (company) also have a policy to reduce or compensate the methane emissions generated from the Cheese farms (that are beyond own operations)?

Does at least 50% of the Cheese come from cows that spend 3300 hours a year, or more, on grasslands?

Does the brand (company) have the objective to only source sustainable soy and palm for the cow’s feed by 2015 at the latest, and does the brand already purchase sustainable soy and palm for the cow’s feed in order to stop e.g. the destruction of tropical forests for palm and soy oil plantations?

Does the brand (company) have a policy to reduce ammonia emissions generated by the cows manure?

Does the brand (company) have clear objectives to reduce packaging weight of products and to increase the use of sustainable/renewable plastics, and does the brand annually report the results annually?

Does the brand (company) have the objective to only source sustainable soy and palm for the cow’s feed by 2015 at the latest, and does the brand already purchase sustainable soy and palm for the cow’s feed in order to stop e.g. forced labor and insufficient wages?
