Next: Automotive Climate Change Question 10

“Has the brand (or Group) achieved a 4% CO2 emission reduction of the car fleet average in the last two years?”

Whereas questions 6, 7 and 8 are about absolute achievements, we also want to reward brands that have improved their fleet average (relative to their own fleet average in the past). It should also be motivating for luxury car brands to improve their performance. Note that to answer this question, the car brand should report the carbon emission fleet averages of the last years, in absolute terms (e.g. fleet average in g/km).

Please note that it is highly preferred to have this reported on the level of individual brands. As long as this is not yet a common practice, we also accept the group level to this question. In the future, when reporting on brand level is more common, this exception is expected to be dropped from the criteria to this question.
